Could you kindly do that report again.
Could you kindly complete it by the 5 o’clock deadline.
If you could run that report when you get a chance, that would be great.
If you could get that customer on the line, that would be great.
If you could let me know your availability for a meeting, that’d be very helpful.
I would appreciate it if you could leave your rubbish in the bin on the way out.
I would appreciate it if you could clear the desk because we have a clean desk policy here.
If you don’t mind, I’ll call you back later.
If you don’t mind, I’d like to borrow your pen for a moment.
If you don’t mind, we’ll meet in the morning at 10 o’clock instead of 9 o’clock.
Allow me to pour you a cup of coffee.
Allow me to introduce myself.
Allow me to assist you with your bags.
Allow me to open the door for you.

I find it interesting how not every language has a corresponding word for “please”, sometimes it’s a phrase, sometimes there are several different phrases/words used in different contexts but all translatable to the English “please”.
So if you could please tell me a bit about “please”—is it a thing in your language?
What’s its literal meaning?
Do you use it often (say, as often as in English)?
Let’s say you’re asking a friend to pass the salt, would you use that word/phrase?
And would you use that same word/phrase for when you’re being robbed in a dark alley and begging for your life?
